Working conditions
This paper describes a lesson for grade 9 where students reflect upon work, especially on poor working conditions. The lesson is integrated into a sequence of five lessons with the topic "Alienation - an accurate diagnosis?".

Aims and objectives
Learning activities
The students analyze a scene from the film "Modern Times". They develop a list of aspects of poor working conditions and arrange them in a mind map according to their respective relevance.

In this lesson, the teacher mainly assumes the role of a moderator.
